Costa Rica Adventure

Day 1 – Arrive at Juan Santamaria International Airport Alajuela. We have staff and transportation ready to take you to Hotel Bougainvillea and Gardens, just outside of Alajuela. Spend the afternoon at your leisure. This beautiful hotel offers 10 acres of amazing gardens for walking, a pool, a tennis court, and a gym. At 7 p.m., we take you to dinner and introduce your upcoming adventure. Dinner included.

Day 2 – Leave the hotel at 8 a.m. to enjoy Doka’s Coffee Tour as well the butterfly garden and Bonsai garden. Then, we drive about 30 minutes to visit a rural dairy farm with a cheese factory and enjoy a delicious typical lunch. Later in the day, we visit the famous waterfall La Paz near the Poas Volcano. Head back to the Bougainvillea Hotel by 5 p.m. and enjoy the night at your leisure. Breakfast, lunch, coffee tour, butterfly and Bonsai Gardens, and rural dairy farm and cheese factory are included.

Day 3 – Check out of your hotel at 7:30 a.m. Visit the Gold Museum in San José. By 11 a.m., we start the drive to the rainforest in the town of La Fortuna. Along the way, enjoy a delicious Costa Rican lunch. Once you check in at the hotel Volcano Lodge and Hot Springs, you have the rest of the day and night to spend at your leisure. Breakfast, lunch, city tour, Gold Museum in San José, and hot springs included.

Day 4 – Activities to choose from: (One activity is included)

Hiking suspension bridges, 3-hour activity.
Canopy zip line, 3-hour activity.
Whitewater rafting, 7-hour activity * Lunch included *
Hike and swim in La Fortuna Waterfall, 3-hour activity.

Breakfast Included.

Day 5 – Early bird watching in Arenal. By 10 a.m., we start driving to Tamarindo Guanacaste. Check in Hotel Tamarindo Diría by 2 p.m. Spend the afternoon and night at your leisure. Breakfast and bird watching included.

Day 6 – Spend the morning at your leisure, then enjoy the sunset catamaran, beginning at 1:30 p.m. There is an open bar on board. Snorkeling and lunch included.

Day 7 – This day is yours to spend at your leisure. Nevertheless, we provide all kinds of optional tours, such as fishing, private boat for beach hopping, whitewater rafting, and more. Please let us know what you’d like to do.

Day 8 – Transfer to Liberia Airport.

1. The package must be booked and paid in full two months before the trip.
2. Cancellation within six weeks — 100% refund.
3. Cancellation within four weeks — 50% refund.
4. Cancellation within 29 days — no refund.
5. ‘Children’ are from ages 6 – 10.
